HTS' chosen charity of 2023 voted by members of staff was Plant & Hire Aid Alliance.
Over 10 million people have fled Ukraine since the conflict began. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future. Many older people and people with disabilities have no option but to remain in their homes. They now find themselves isolated, unable to access food and basic necessities.
Members of the Plant & Hire team took it upon themselves to make a statement on behalf of the construction industry and have since delivered the following donations from companies and members:
- 1500 Matresses delivered.
- 48 Tonnes of food delivered.
- 280 Suitcases delivered.
- 50 Tonnes of Medical Supplies delivered.
- 97 Generators delivered.
- 2700 Blankets delivered.
- £80,000 funds raised.
- 1750 Boxes of aid delivered.
- 25,000 Christmas presents collected.
HTS have so far, collected 5 boxes of varied clothing, towels and bedding, 5 bags of younger children's clothing and one double duvet.
We plan to raise funds throughout the year to help fund Aid Alliance missions.
